If you don't have a plan to spoil your Mom this Mother's Day, we can help!

Take Mom shopping along 124 Street and enjoy popping in and out of the unique boutiques and jewelry stores along the way. When your feet need a break, stop into the Duchess Bakeshop. This French bakery serves decadent treats, pies, and cakes, along with breakfast and lunch options. A day spent along 124 Street is a great option when you live just up the street at Wynford Apartments or Parklane Gardens

Moms and flowers go hand and hand, so why not take Mom to the Muttart Conservatory for a stroll through the pyramids? On Mother's Day, you can make a special keepsake for Mom, work together planting pots to take home, or just have a nice relaxing chat within the beautiful pyramids. Create an opportunity to chat while drive Mom out to the University of Alberta Botanic Gardens Plant Sale just 30 minutes from our Ospin Terrace and Millbourne Mews rentals. The gardens here are breathtaking and you can buy Mom whatever catches her eye!

The Edmonton Valley Zoo, just minutes from our Colonial Arms and Crestview Apartment buildings, will celebrate moms with a special day filled with crafts, face painting, live music, and, just for moms - mini massages and manicures! Visit the park Sunday from noon until 4pm to enjoy all the special events.

Take Mom back in time at the Rutherford House, the home of Alberta's first Premier Alexander Cameron Rutherford. Enjoy a guided tour of this Provincial Historic Site by a costumed interpreter and discover its beauty while learning about its past. Mom may also enjoy free entry into the Art Gallery of Alberta, just minutes away from our buildings downtown. Enjoy brunch at the Zinc Restaurant and then let mom lead the way through the gallery.

No matter how you choose to spoil Mom this year, don't forget to tell her how much she means to you. Ayre & Oxford wishes all moms a very happy Mother's Day!
