Easter is quickly approaching, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with several EGGciting events, activities, and recipes to enjoy near our Edmonton apartments.

An Easter Egg hunt makes the top of our must do Easter activity list. Here in Edmonton there are several egg hunts close to our Edmonton Apartments.

The Mill Woods Town Centre is hosting an Easter Market with a wide variety of local vendors, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and of course an Easter egg hunt. Saturday April 1st from 10am to 5:30pm and Sunday April 2nd from noon to 5pm, visitors can browse over 40 local vendors, visit with the Easter bunny, and hunt for eggs. Mill Woods Market is just 5 minutes from our Woodvale Townhomes.

For residents in our Hazeldean Heights townhomes, you’re just minutes away from the free Hazeldean Eggcellent Easter Market. On April 1st, visitors are encouraged to join the Easter fun while they shop local vendors and enjoy fresh cinnamon buns, hot poutine, and more from the indoor concessions. This egg-citing Easter Egg hunt runs from 10:30am to 4:30pm.

Egg decorating is another must do Easter activity. This year, join the Carrot Community Arts Coffee House at their Family Dip Dye Easter Egg event. Families can follow artist Edwin Aquino April 1st from 1 to 3pm or 4 to 6pm and dye Easter eggs to take home. This event is $10 per person or $32 per family. Residents of our Grasslands Apartments are just minutes from the Carrot Community Arts Coffee House.

Finally, what’s Easter without delicious brunch? Highlands Golf Club, just minutes from our Maureen Manor, is offering brunch on April 9th from 10am to 1pm. Guests can look forward to a make your own waffle station, applewood smoked bacon, salads, and entrées like baked mac & cheese and pineapple glazed ham. Brunch is $36 per person or $18 for kids 5 to 12.

Bring the fun home with simple Easter recipes to make with the family. Baking is a fun activity kids and adults can enjoy together. These chocolate nests use sandwich cookies, pretzels, and more to make them irresistible, or whip up a batch of Easter cookies with pastel M&Ms.
