John W. Ayre

Upon graduation from the University of Alberta, John joined Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada in the Property Investments Division. He was active in the Edmonton Property Investment field office and ultimately opened the Edmonton Property Management Office, prior to moving to, the then Montreal Head Office, as an analyst for Canadian Operations, Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada.

In 1977, he started an Edmonton based fee management company, and in January 1983 the managed portfolio and his talents were merged with another fee manager. He acted as General Manager for this organization, which became one of the larger, more respected third party management companies in Alberta. In August 1994 Mr. Ayre and fellow shareholders sold their interest in this company, and as of September 16, 1995 he left this organization and began assembling the necessary components for Ayre & Oxford Inc.

Mr. Ayre has instructed property management courses offered through Grant MacEwan Community College and the University of Alberta, Department of Extension. He has held most of the executive positions within the IREM, Edmonton Chapter No.54. Mr. Ayre is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the province of Alberta.

Mr. Oxford previously worked for a large fee property management company in Edmonton, as Senior Property Manager. Prior to this, Don did a four-year assignment as Real Estate Consultant with a large financial institution overseeing $1.3 billion Canadian of owned real estate. During his prior association with Weber Bros. Realty Ltd., he was involved in Land Assembly, Leasing, Lease Negotiation, Financing, Property Management and Mortgage Brokerage. Mr. Don

Oxford developed and pre-leased the 150,000 square foot office complex know as Weber Centre in Edmonton. Don is well known for his ability to meet the objectives of Owners by providing “hands-on” attention to the physical and marketing components of a specific piece of real estate. Others have noted his knowledge and ability, and amongst his colleagues this has earned him a solid reputation, in that he has been described as having a sixth sense in dealing with a specific parcel of real estate. Mr. Oxford is also a Licensed Land Agent and Licensed Real Estate Agent in the Province of Alberta.
