Southeast Edmonton is a beautiful area of the city with great shopping and transportation, perfect for families and professionals alike.

The Outdoors

The green space and park land in southeast Edmonton is vast. For families, this area contains many great playgrounds and about 9 splash pads throughout its abundant parks. For dog walkers, runners, and cyclists, the Mill Creek Ravine offers gorgeous trails to explore. Other nature trails and walking paths can be found at Pollard Meadows Natural Area, Larch Sanctuary, and Laurel Lake.

 

The Shopping

Southeast Edmonton is filled with great malls and unique markets, the largest being the South Edmonton Common with 2.3 million square feet of retail space! Here you will find all the popular retail stores, several unique shops, and many great services. Other shopping destinations in southeast Edmonton include Londonderry Mall, Millbourne Maket Mall, and the Mill Woods Town Centre. You'll find large department stores, banks, grocers and more at Rion Can Meadows, and The Shops at Summerside offer a mix of retail, services, and restaurants.

 

The Entertainment

There is always something to do here in Southeast Edmonton! The Mill Woods Golf Course is an 18-hole public green offering a driving range, pro shop, and lessons. Other points of interest include community leagues, Launchpad Trampoline Park, Vertically Inclined Rock Gym, and Mill Woods Recreation Centre where you'll find aquatics, fitness, and sporting activities.

 

The Food

You can enjoy great cuisine from all around the world here in southeast Edmonton! Some of the more popular restaurants include Little India, The Workshop Eatery, Loma House, and Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse. A good café can be hard to find after moving to a new area. Luckily in southeast Edmonton, you can grab a cup of coffee at a large chain coffeehouse like Starbucks or Tim Hortons. For a more unique taste, try the 6th Sense Café in Mill Woods Town Centre, Good Earth Coffeehouse in Summerside, or the Blue Chair Café in Ritchie.
